Instructions
- Watch particles follow pilot wave trajectories
- Adjust slit separation for different patterns
- Notice: trajectories never cross!
De Broglie-Bohm Theory
In the pilot wave interpretation, particles have definite positions at all times, guided by the wavefunction. The velocity is v = â/m à Im(âÏ/Ï), derived from the phase gradient. The quantum potential Q = -âÂē/2m à âÂēR/R creates the "quantum force" that bends trajectories to reproduce interference patterns. Trajectories never cross because they follow streamlines of a deterministic velocity field.
